Commercial & industrial
Bergen County is dense and commercial along its arterials, Route 4, Route 17, and Route 46, anchored by the Paramus retail corridor, one of the busiest in the country, plus office parks, auto rows, and medical suites. We coat retail, showroom, restaurant, auto, and medical floors across that mix on off-hours.
Homes & garages
Bergen has a deep stock of older single-family homes, Tudors, Colonials, and Victorians in towns like Ridgewood, Franklin Lakes, and Wyckoff. Most have garages and full basements, many decades old, so garage and basement floors, with the crack repair and dry, sound concrete those older slabs need, are the bread and butter here.
Climate & the slab
New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania put a slab through a hard yearly cycle. Winters bring 30 to 40 freeze-thaw swings and months of tracked-in road salt; summers stay humid enough to keep concrete sweating. Bare or painted slabs spall, dust, and lift at the joints under that load. A properly prepped epoxy or polyaspartic system seals the concrete against salt and moisture and moves with the temperature instead of letting go, which is exactly why we diamond-grind to profile and make sure the slab is dry and sound before any resin, and recommend a moisture test where a high water table calls for it.
