Epoxy floors are similar to tile in temperature but tend to take on the ambient temperature of the room. In basements, they can feel cooler, but they are perfectly compatible with area rugs for added warmth.
High-gloss metallic floors can be slippery when wet, similar to polished marble. However, for basements, kitchens, and entryways, we can add a clear anti-slip aggregate to the topcoat to provide grip without sacrificing the look.
Most interior projects take 2 days. Day 1 is for prep (grinding) and base coat application. Day 2 is for the topcoat/finish. You can typically walk on it 24 hours after the final coat.
Absolutely. Once cured, the floor is 100% inert, non-toxic, and VOC-free. It does not off-gas. Plus, its seamless nature means it doesn’t trap bacteria or mold like carpet or tile grout does.
